Make your own BAKING Powder

Since most baking powder contain cornstarch which I am allergic to, I had to figure out an alternative that worked for me.

The best one I have made to produce light fluffy baked goods:

1/4 Cup Baking Soda

1/4 Cup Tapioca Starch

1/2 cup Cream of Tartar

Whisk all ingredients together and store in air tight container.

I began this blog as a way to keep track and share my gluten free recipes for my friends and group members. Most recipes are corn, soy , wheat and gluten free since I am intolerant or allergic to all those ingredients. My family members are not gluten free but have other nutritional demands such as diabetes. Many of my recipes are also sugar-free.
